Danielle creates clearly conceived interiors that reflect the lifestyle and aspirations of each client. Her work employs both contemporary and historic design motifs to create environments that are unique to each project.

Drawing on her over 25 years of experience, Danielle is known for introducing clients to design movements they may not have known about and taking a pragmatic approach to design - helping them discover and express their style by creating rooms that are luxurious and memorable, while also functional and livable.

Danielle has created a niche in high end residential interiors.  Prior to establishing Danielle Galland Interior Design, she worked under the renowned Hall of Fame interior designer, Kitty Hawks.  In addition to practicing interior design, she served on the faculties of New York School of Interior Design, Institute of Classical Architecture, and Parsons School of Design where she was Interim Director of the Parsons Interior Design BFA program.

Danielle holds a BA in Interior Design from Parsons School of Design and an MFA in the History of the Decorative Arts from the Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum.
